A “SWEEEET” CELEBRITY JUDGE

Written by Mark

Each year, we have an off-site retreat for our entire office. This year, we did a staff talent show for our second evening. The three organizers (me included) brought in a celebrity surprise guest to be the judge.

If you ever want to book him for some kind of event, let me know and I’ll get you the details. He’s a 16 year old kid from Texas and he’s dead-on with his impersonation. We loved him! (It helps that my boss – who had no idea he was coming – LOVES the movie. She was stunned when he walked in and initially thought it was Jon Heder.)

He charges $1,700 plus travel costs for he and his Mom (his agent). He brings headshots to sign and poses for pictures. He was featured in the New York Times a couple of months ago when the NYT went to Preston, ID for Napoleon Days.

Here’s a funny – Bryan (the impersonator) is Mormon, too. We didn’t know that ahead of time, and several of the acts were raunchy and inappropriate for a 16-year old Mormon kid. I apologized on behalf of my agency. But in the end, I feel like at least my agency was making a contribution to a future missionary’s fund.
