I am one!

Oh it's hard to believe that our little Thomas is one! It went so fast. I was feeling very sentimental about my last baby turning one, so I planned a fun family party for the little guy.

I made a slideshow on iPhoto of about 150 pictures from the year. The kids have loved watching it.

We had a nice family dinner and then played some games. We played baby bottle bowling, had a crawling relay race and had everyone draw pictures of Thomas. We had them all fill out a sheet about what "I love about Thomas" and their hopes and dreams for Thomas. We had a treasure hunt for goody bags and looked for clues in all of Thomas' favorite places in our house.

We opened presents. He loved his Sing-a-ma-jig. We had cupcakes and ice cream. After a bath to get off all the frosting, we played with some more toys. It was just perfect.

Long long month

It's a long long month, January!

But we are excited to celebrate Thomas' first birthday this week!

We are excited about Josh winning his school's National Geographic Geography Bee!

We are excited about Caroline getting the part of Sleeping Beauty in the Theater Club's production of Bella Witches' last Spell. The performance is in May.

We are excited about Matthew starting Karate. (his choice!)

We are excited about registering Sam for kindergarten!

I am excited about my knee feeling stronger from PT!

I am not excited about snow, cold temperatures and staying inside a lot. There's only so many drawers I can clean out and closets I can organize. But it's been super nice to slow life down a bit, have Mark home more and occassionally feel bored.

Enjoy your hunkering. It will be hot and humid before we know it!

Christmas!

Here are some photos from Christmas! It's been a great week and a half but it's also time to get back to a schedule (and school)!

Matthew and Sam loved their agent P shirts.

We went to the City with Grandma.

New PJs!

Caroline's sewing machine...she's got a bunch of new projects to work on.

Welcome 2011! Not sad to see 2010 go!
